Never Gonna

We're no strangers to love
You know the rules and so do I
A full commitment's what I'm thinking of
You wouldn't get this from any other guy

I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

We've known each other for so long
Your heart's been aching, but
You're too shy to say it
Inside, we both know what's been going on
We know the game and we're gonna play it

And if you ask me how I'm feeling
Don't tell me you're too blind to see

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

Reference Frame

When it comes to physics, reference frames are used time and time again. In fact you experience different reference frames everyday.

Have you ever been in a car? No? Well a car is a contraption with four wheels and a motor. Basically a car can move and travel.

When glancing at a car traveling down the highway it whizzes by you. Clearly you see that the car is in motion. From the frame of the car however, if you were standing behind an infinitely large black background it would appear to the driver that you are infarct the one that's moving.

If a person in a car rolls a ball toward the front end of the car, to the person in the car it would appear that they simply rolled a ball with a speed of a couple m/s. From the perspective of the person watching they would see the ball rolling that couple of m/s but also have to the the speed of the car to the total speed of the ball.

Now, think about standing on the earth. You feel like you are still but you are actually being slung around the sun at 107 000 km/h. So even tho you are standing on the earth you are incredibly actually moving 107 000 km/h. But wait, while the earth orbits the sun the sun orbits our galaxy which is moving an average of 828 000 km/h.... so even when you are still on earth you are moving 935 000 km/h.

The craziness doesn't stop there there is also the consideration of maybe our Milky Way Galaxy is orbiting something else? Also... our universe is rapidly expanding all the time, gotta factor that in too.

I'll leave this up to you to do some digging, I just thought it was a fascinating thought to share.

Cheers.

The Jones Philosophy

Ever wondered what the greatest last name on earth is? Well, if you're like most people you never have before. But now that I have your attention I'm more than happy to answer that question.

To start off answering this question I wanted to lead you down the rabbit hole of rhyming and word connections. What is the coolest word in the world? Exactly, the word coolest. Coolest rhythms with Poolest. The biggest pool in the world, or in other terms the Poolest thing in this world is the pool at Crystal Lagoon at Citystars Sharm El Sheikh. This pool is 96,437 m² or 23.83 acres! Hmm, what else is 23.83 acres well if you've been property shopping lately you'll see this property in Decatur, TN for 23.83 acres. To cut this connection shorter and get into the meat and jelly of it, there is a person that lives in Tenseness who has the last name...*drum roll please*... Jones.

Yes, after that entire paragraph it was deduced that Jones is the greatest last name of all time. That's right. JONES.

The Jones Philosophy

"The last name Jones sounds good with any first name." - My brother

The first time my brother told me this I had no idea what to think of it. Surely there can't be one great last name but after much first name experiments I was convinced. The last name Jones sounds good with any first name.

Jacob Jones, Billy Jones, April Jones, Jimmy Jones, Samantha Jones, Carter Jones. No matter the name, no matter the game Jones just makes every full name sound EPIC. Samantha Jones especially, that name is badass. ALL OF THEM ARE.

Try it out, first with your name and then think of others. The Jones Philosophy guarantees it sounds good. Of course some Jonesed names sound cooler than others but there isn't one name that doesn't sound at least semi-epic.

Cheers.

My Viewpoints On Earths Health

You ever walk into a room, flip on the dimmer switch and have to slowly adjust the knob to bring the lights up? When it comes to global warming the world is acting like that dimmer switch. Sure the lights do go on, but there is a big delay from the darkest of lights to the brightest of lights. The world needs to be more like a standard light switch. Flip on, flip off...It's instant. Unfortunately we are living in the time of the dimmer switch, this my friends is what happens when you mix money, politics and old fashion people into one cesspool.

Money. It's no secret that money is a driving force in this world. Money gets shit done. When it comes to the fossil fuel industry - no research has to be done for you to imagine how much unfathomable amounts of money that, that industry makes. When pushes are made for the use of cleaner energy people are scared because they won't be rich anymore. As well, transitioning to a more green world...wait for it...costs MONEY! Everything costs money.

What is Graphene?

You may have heard of it, you may have not but graphene is pretty damn cool. Years ago when it was found graphene was supposed to take the world by storm. EVERYTHING was supposed to be made of it in the future. Well, it's the future now, wheres graphene?

Before I answer that question, what is graphene? Funny enough if you're in school just like me, you probably experience graphen everyday. Ever heard of graphite? The thing that is your pencil. Well graphite is made of a molecule named Carbon - C on the periodic table. This carbon in the pencil is bounded tightly together until an unsuspecting human decided he want's to write on paper. This action of writing causes layers of the carbon or in common terms layers of graphite to rub off and stick to the paper. Graphene itself is actual one layer of those carbon atoms! So what i am telling you is every time you write with your pencil you are almost making graphene... but not quite. Just a general idea of it.

(Basically, graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms.)

So where is graphene? As Graphene is reportedly 200 times stronger than STEEL - no not STIHL the yard maintenance manufacturer. As well, graphene can conduct electricity and it's flexible, it's still not here. In my opinion from doing a couple minutes of research it's because the backing is just not there anymore and in turn is too expensive to produce. Maybe you don't remember but I remember a couple years ago graphene was the shit, the talk of the century. Now I feel that it has lost it's edge.

But.

With products like graphene hockey sticks, this shows that people are still talking about graphene as a viable resource. I hope it makes a swell comeback into our lives. But maybe i'm entirely wrong and missed the mark, well... it's mysillyblog after all. Go research graphene yourself. I am like the stepping stone for you to achieve greatness.

Cheers.

Buffalo.

Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.

This shit is what shakespear is conceived out of. Can you believe it "Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo" is an actual sentence. For short i'm going to refer "Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo." to "BbbbbbBb," as "Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo," is too long of a sentence.

If "Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo," or should I say "BbbbbbBb," wasn't that long of a sentence than I wouldn't have had to do it to them. "BbbbbbBb," is where it's at know.

But the reason I bring this up is to showcase one way that the English language is magical. Like. Seriously "BbbbbbBb," is a real sentence.

There's an entire Wikipedia page on this but who am I kidding I didn't read it and you won't either. All you have to know is that Buffalo 8-times is a real sentence. Love you English.

Cheers.

Looking Back

Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock. That's the sound an old clock makes as time passes by; repetitive ticking followed by an even fainter tocking. Maybe you're at your job watching the clock but with every tick, the tock manages to be an eternity later. Or maybe you are hanging out with your best friend and suddenly it feels like the ticks and tocks went by so quickly. However you may experience or perceive time, it affects are life the exact same way - time makes you feel older. As you start to have the sensation of time passing by a couple thoughts may be on your mind: Did I pick the right path? Do I have any regrets?

Whenever I start to think about choosing my correct path in life I always get stopped at the idea of the "butterfly effect." This is an effect described as the possibility of a small decision at the time having an enormous impact to your future life. While the name "butterfly effect" has such a gracious name, thinking about it makes me want to hurl. Take a moment and imagine what it would be like for your parents living life before they met each other. I know it's very strange to think about. To you, you just lived - end of story. For your parents on the other hand, they most likely had thousands of decisions leading up to the moment of starting a family together.
